The U.S. Senate is considering ratification of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). The treaty was 6 votes short of the two-thirds majority needed for ratification in 2012, but MS activists like you haven’t given up. Ratification of the CRPD affirms the rights of Americans living with disabilities when traveling, living, work and studying overseas. The treaty will also allow American businesses to continue as world leaders in disability technology and equipment, opening new markets and allowing for expansion.
Let your Senators know that you support the CRPD and urge them to continue negotiations and ultimately ratify the CRPD.
