Yoga for Wellness

1175 East Park center Boulevard,

Gentle Yoga

This class consists of gentle movement and breath followed by a guided meditation practice known as Integrative Restoration (iRest).  All ability levels welcome.  The use of chairs and props make easy movements and postures accessible to everyone.  (Wheelchairs welcome, too.)  Simple breathing exercises can be profoundly refreshing.  Yoga is now recognized as an excellent means of managing symptoms of MS.  Benefits include:  increased body awareness, release of muscular tension, increased coordination and balance, better flexibility and strength, decreased fatigue, increased tolerance to heat, improved circulation and breathing, improved organ function, enhanced alertness, stress reduction and an overall feeling of well-being.

Tai-Chi Exercise Class

The ancient art of Tai-Chi uses gentle flowing movements and graceful exercise to reduce stress and help with a variety of health conditions. This class is designed specifically for our older community members to help increase strength, balance, and health.
