EVENT OVERVIEW

Bike MS passes through natural wildlife preserves, historic towns, farmlands and back roads of Willamette Valley's finest countryside. The routes include fully-stocked rest stops every 10-15 miles and safety provided by volunteer EMT’s, HAM radio operators and bicycle repair from our partner bike shops. We will conclude the day at Western Oregon University where you will be treated to a delicious meal, massage, musical entertainment and an evening program. Everyone is up early on Sunday for breakfast and on the road where the route heads you to our finish line celebration and a great feeling of accomplishment.

Your participation will aid in assisting support programs, services, and research that makes a huge difference to the people who must fight MS every day of their lives.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is dedicated to a vision of a world free of MS.

The Rogue Hop Farm is on the Willamette River, south of Independence, Oregon on the former John Haas Alluvial Hop Farm. There are over 55,000 square feet of hop harvesting, osprey nests, a pond full of large-mouth bass, and corn and grass fields, on this dead-end road farmland just outside of haunted Independence, Oregon.

Ankeny Vineyard overlooks the Ankeny National Wildlife Refuge, home to thousands of migratory waterfowl. A combination of gentle slopes and low elevations makes it one of the earliest ripening sites in the valley, resulting in extraordinary Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris grapes. Vineyard owner Joe Olexa and winemaker Andy Thomas turn out small hand-crafted batches of wine to capture the unique character, or terroir, of Ankeny Vineyard.
