Directions and Parking
Walk MS East Bay takes place at Lakeside Park Bandstand in Lake Merritt, CA. Enter the park at the Children’s Fairyland entrance at Grand Ave and Bellevue Ave.
Parking: Parking is $5 per vehicle to park inside the park. Outside the park and around the lake is metered parking on Saturdays.
Public transportation: The closest Bart station is 19th St. Oakland. Take the 20th St. stairway to street level. Upon exiting the station, walk on 20th St. towards Harrison St. Turn left on Harrison and walk two blocks. Turn right on Grand Ave. Walk one block until you reach the park/Children’s Fairyland entrance at the intersection of Grand and Bellevue (right side).

Directions
The entrance to the site is on Pleasanton Ave between Bernal Ave and Rose Ave. From Highway 680, take the Bernal Ave exit and head east. Continue on Bernal Ave past the Fairgrounds reader board and Pleasanton Ave is at the next stop light. Turn left at Pleasanton Ave and the site entrance is located on the left, in the middle of the block next to the Fairgrounds offices.
Parking Information
Free parking is located in the ACE Train lot only across the street for all Walk MS participants. You must notify attendant that you are participating in Walk MS in order to receive free parking.

Parking information:
All-day parking is available at Embarcadero Three and Embarcadero Four garages for an all-day rate of $10. Please present this pass to the attendant upon leaving the garage for the rate.
Metered Parking:
On Sundays, metered parking is available for free until noon, except along the Embarcadero where metering hours start at 7am. Always pay attention to posted parking hours.
Public Transportation: Embarcadero Bart is the closest Bart station to Justin Herman Plaza. Upon exiting the station, continue 2 blocks Northeast on Market Street toward the Ferry Building and arrive at Justin Herman Plaza on the left. For more information, visit www.bart.gov.

Both 1 mile and 5k routes head north along the Embarcadero toward Pier 39 and are “up and back” routes. The 1 mile turnaround and rest stop #1 is at Pier 7. The 5k walkers continue up to Pier 39 where the turnaround and rest stop #2 is at the Aquarium of the Bay.
