"Someone to Listen"
Do you need someone to talk to? Do you sometimes feel like you are all alone? The "Someone to Listen" peer support program is designed for people with MS to talk to others with MS about living with the disease. The common bond of the disease creates a unique connection and a feeling of support and understanding as no one else can. The goal of the program is personal empowerment through supportive telephone or email conversations. Complete confidentiality is respected and observed.
The Chapter's 10 trained volunteers are ready to take your calls on:
- Understanding MS
- Coping with a diagnosis
- Communicating with family members
- Making decisions at work
- Navigating life's choices
- And more!
