Our number one priority is ensuring the safety of our MuckFest participants, volunteers, spectators, and staff. The COVID-19 pandemic has presented us with unprecedented challenges, and we have determined that we are not able to carry out the fun, memorable, and above all, safe event that our participants expect and deserve. Cancelling the 2020 MuckFest events is tremendously disappointing for all of us, but it is the only option at this point.
For an event of MuckFest’s size and scope, there are dozens of moving pieces that need to be in place many months ahead of time. Unfortunately, the constantly changing constraints brought on by the pandemic have left too many pieces in limbo at this point for us to be able to continue safely.
While recommendations to slow the spread of the virus include staying clean and maintaining distance, MuckFest is all about getting down and dirty right there alongside other Muckers. Due to the very nature of a mud/obstacle event there is no way to properly adhere to the required safety/health measures, and we will not compromise our commitment to your safety.
There will not be a virtual version of MuckFest in 2020.

Yes, we will refund all registration fees. This will happen automatically, so you do not have to request a refund.
We have thousands of refunds to process, which our small but mighty team will begin conducting during the week of May 18. It may take several weeks for us to process all of the refunds, so we appreciate your patience. You will get a confirmation email once your refund has been completed, and it may take 7-10 business days from that date for the funds to be credited back to your original payment method.

1) If you log into your Participant Center with your username and password, you can quickly create a Facebook Fundraiser that links directly to your MuckFest fundraising account and counts toward your MuckFest fundraising goal. You can check out the Facebook Fundraiser FAQs here.
2) Facebook also has a variety of fundraising tools, including donate buttons and birthday fundraisers that you can set up directly within Facebook, but will not link to your MuckFest Participant Center. with your username and password. Click the "My Progress" tab and you will be able to view your donor list and the amounts donated. Make sure to thank your donors; you can send your own email or use our pre-written Thank You email in the Email Center section of the Participant Center.
Donating online is the fastest way to submit donations. Please do not mail in cash contributions. You can write out a personal check for any cash you receive. Checks should be made out to the National MS Society. Please put your name on the memo line and include a donation form
with each check. To turn in your donations, you can mail or drop off your donations at the chapter office. You can search for your local chapter office here

If we receive an offline donation that does not include the donor's name and mailing address, it will be credited to your account as anonymous. To update this information, you contact your local chapter office here
Donors who make an online donation via our website will receive an email confirmation that can be used for tax purposes. Donors of offline check or credit card contributions will receive an email confirmation when the donation is entered into the system.
No. We cannot split donations among multiple participants. However, if the participants are on the same team, you can make a team donation that will be credited to the entire team, but not split among the team members.

with your username and password. Once you're logged in, you will see a link at the top of the page called "Update My Profile." You will be able to change your contact information, email address, username and password. All changes will be made to your account immediately.
A personal page is your personal fundraising space on our website for you to advertise your participation in MuckFest and fundraise on behalf of your local chapter of the National MS Society. Your page has a default image and text, but you can edit your Personal Page by logging in to the Participant Center
with your username and password. Many participants customize their pages with their own stories and photos.
