 Join the Movement

We need you to join the movement with hundreds of thousands of Americans that want to do something about multiple sclerosis now.  The National MS Society believes that moving is not just something you can or can’t do, but rather is who you are.  Join the Movement to create a world free of MS through any of the following events.  Our events raise funds and increase public awareness about MS.  But they are also a great excuse to have a lot of fun.

 walk MS.

Women Against MS:  Charlottesville

Women leaders committed to the MS cause ask their friends and business associates to join them for lunch and make a set minimum charitable donation to help end the devastating effects of MS.

bike MS:  Best of the Blue Ridge

Join the National MS Society and the Blue Ridge Bicycle Club as we move towards a world free of MS in southwestern Virginia. This innagural event will feature historic and beautiful farmlands and inspiring views.  Cyclists can choose 25, 50, 75 or 100 mile options each day.  Click Here for more details and to register today.

Dinner of Champions The MS Dinner of Champions is the premiere gala event of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. To honor many of America's most prestigious corporate leaders and corporations, Howard Cosell and Frank Gifford founded the MS Dinner of Champions in 1972. Today this fundraiser is one of the Blue Ridge Chapter’s most celebrated and popular events.   Events are held in Charlottesville and Roanoke in the fall and in Harrisonburg each spring.
Community Events  Have you ever wanted to fight MS by hosting your own event to benefit people living with the disease?  Making a difference locally in the fight against MS is a relatively simple process with the tools available through the Blue Ridge Chapter; you can effectively run your own fundraiser!

The money raised from these DIY fundraising events helps provide many programs and services for people living with MS in our chapter.  In addition to providing financial support for the Blue Ridge Chapter’s initiatives, your event creates an important opportunity for the community in which you live to learn about MS and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
