NOW THAT WAS SOME MILE-HIGH-LARITY!!

On a day that was hot and dry, not a cloud in the sky, 2,600 muckers, 150 volunteers and thousands of guests converged on Salisbury Park North to create one of the most memorable MuckFest® MS Denver events in history! If Saturday's shenanigans and muck-heroics didn't put a smile on your face and an extra hop in your giddy-up, then you better check your pulse, my friend.

Obstacle Conquering & Mile-High-larity Thanks to the layout of the course and the MuckFestival, guests got a front-row seat and were treated to a tasty tableaux of athletic feats of muck-tacular wonder.

From the mud-filled Muckin' Corral to the swingin' Big Balls to the heights of Mt. Muck-imanjaro, muckers put on a muck-nificient show—dare we say, the Greatest Show on Dirt, which just so happens to be the name of our Top Fundraising Team!

Superheroes, Bananas, Tooth Fairies & Two Dirty Brides
Throughout the season, MuckFest MS teams have consistently demonstrated the highest levels of comic camaraderie and team spirit, and Denver teams did not disappoint. We saw helping hands a-plenty from the Triple Pits to the Belly Crawl, and we saw teams of all varieties, young and not-so-young, including a team of life-sized bananas, a bunch of flexing superheroes, and of course, a squad of tooth fairies, which included two gents in white bridal gowns who took their mucking vows very seriously.

Move Over Cardi B—It's Mud Master Al & Mayor Mike
Thanks to Parker, Colorado Mayor Mike Waid and his mighty team of fluorescent-shirted muckers who came out again this year to have some fun in the sun. The Mayor kicked off the high noon wave, revealing a long-hidden talent for beat-boxing while Mud Master Al laid down some sick rhymes, as the kids say. Hey Mayor, we think that beat-boxing might come in handy at upcoming city council meetings, just sayin'.

Fundraising Heroes & MS Warriors
Thanks to everyone who went the extra mile and fundraised on behalf of the National MS Society: your fundraising truly does change lives. You can see the top five fundraising individuals and teams below and the full list of top teams and individuals here, but we'd like to give a special shout-out to Michael Pierce, Meg Pitman, Julia Fritze-Singh, Ali McGreal, Brooke Hatfield, and Jenny Roberts; we sincerely appreciate your hard work and extraordinary fundraising efforts. And big thanks to all the MS warriors in teal bandanas who mucked it out on the course, and all the MS warriors and their families cheering them on.

Let's Hear It for Our Volunteers!
It really is true that this event would not happen without our volunteers, so we would like to thank and recognize our volunteers' hard work on Saturday. Over 150 people, including 75 muckers who volunteered before or after their run, transformed the park into the most festive and welcoming place in the world. A special shout-out to the students and staff from the Colorado Early Colleges Parker who rocked the Check-In tent before mucking it in the last wave of the day.

Here's to BJ's!
A big THANK YOU to our local beer sponsor, BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, for coming out and making our MuckFestival the happenin' epicenter of the event. Our muckers and guests were thrilled to hoist a few before, during and after the run, and your cold beer really hit the spot.

Hurts So Good
Thanks to Hurts Donuts of Colorado Springs for not only fielding a team and running the course, but for providing volunteers, staff and visitors to the National MS Society tent with some of the most delectable donuts on the planet.

Straight from the Horse's Mouth
Thanks again to the city of Parker and to Salisbury Park North for being such great event partners, and thanks for letting us get mucky in your beautiful corner of Colorado. Thanks to everyone who traveled from near and far to be there on Saturday. You deserve our sincere thanks for making this year's event so special!

Thank You
