 COMMUNITY EVENTS INFORMATION

  • Have you ever wanted to JOIN THE MOVEMENT by hosting your own event to benefit people living with MS?  Making a difference locally in the fight against MS is a relatively simple process.  Many events can be planned and held without chapter staff involvement, but if you have questions or need assistance in getting started, please contact Phil Deal at phil.deal@nmss.org or 407.478.8880, option 2, ext 22.
  • The money raised from your fundraising event helps provide many programs and services for people living with MS across Mid Florida, like Quality of Life Grants and Journey Club, a program for families living with MS. Your event also creates an important opportunity to educate the public about MS and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
  • Community Events are hosted by groups and individuals not officially affiliated with the National MS Society, and the Chapter bears little fiduciary responsibility in getting them organized. Every Community Event organizer must review the Third Party Event Guidelines and complete the Third Party Event Application to conduct a community event to benefit the National MS Society Mid Florida Chapter.
