Scientific Peer Reviewers

Our Volunteer Peer-Review Committees

Each year the Society receives an average of 350 proposals from researchers who hope to explore particular aspects of multiple sclerosis.  Volunteer panels of about 70 MS experts, who donate their personal and professional time to advance our research mission, review these proposals.  Last year alone, our scientific advisors donated over 2,000 hours of their personal and professional time to advance our research mission.

The panels judge proposals for their scientific merit and relevance to our efforts to cure, prevent and treat MS and improve the lives of those affected by the disease.
