DCW MSAW 2013 Connection imageMarch is MS Awareness Month, a time to make every connection count in the mission to create a world free of MS. Throughout March, National Capital Chapter staff and volunteers will be spreading awareness in the community.  Join the Movement® with us at the events listed below!

If you want to make an even greater impact for MS Awareness Month from the comfort of your desk or couch, follow these simple steps to be a part of the MS Awareness Virtual Fundraising Campaign:

  1. Share your story! Through our DIY (Do It Yourself) fundraising portal, you can create a personalized fundraising webpage explaining why MS is important to you.
  2. Send your personal DIY fundraising page URL to family, friends, colleagues, and your social networks during the month of March, doing your part to raise awareness about MS.
  3. Don’t forget ‘the ask’! Every dollar counts in the movement to end MS forever.  Ask people to donate at whatever level they feel comfortable, where it’s giving up $5 for their morning coffee or $6,500 to honor the 6,500 people in our area living with MS.

Visit the DIY page and create your ‘virtual awareness event’ with your personal story.  Have questions or need help setting up your MS Awareness Virtual Fundraising Campaign Page? Call us at 202-296-5363, option 2 or email Anthony.Francavilla@nmss.org
