Bike MS: Bay to Bay 2018

Team Davey

In 2013 we formed Team Davey for Bike MS because we received the news that our dear friend David had been diagnosed with MS.  In the five years since, Team Davey has raised over $50,000 to aid in research, medicines, practical help for those afflicted with MS and their families and, an eventual cure.
Bike MS is a physical challenge for cyclists of every level, but it’s so much more than just a ride.  It’s a group effort that transcends personal accomplishment and touches the lives of the thousands of people affected by MS in our personal lives and in the community around us.

About MS

Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling, disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Over the past year we have watched our friend David live with the unpredictable symptoms of MS, including numbness from his thighs down, leg jerks, severe fatigue, memory loss, and mental confusion.  Millions of other people are also affected by MS with symptoms ranging from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.

Join our team!

Your gift helps support cutting-edge research and programs and services for everyone impacted by MS, including our friend David. Ending MS means no one will receive an MS diagnosis again. Every dollar helps. Every connection matters.
