Bike MS: Bike to the Bay (Delaware) 2018

Team Red Clay

Red Clay School District

Red Clay is committed to providing the best environment for our students to grow, and that includes their role models (you!) being fit and challenging themselves to grow as well. Team Red Clay is gearing up for round two of Bike to the Bay for MS this October 13th! We would love for you to join us for this fun and challenging event.

Red Clay won the "New Team Award" last year and also won the Gold Award for fundraising close to $10,000! We hope to surpass that in Year Two. We have already secured a fundraising jeans day on September 14th to assist with raising the needed money per rider, and hope to have many do their own fundraising on top of that

If you participate in Bike to the Bay, you can ride as little as 20 miles and as much as 100 miles, it's up to you! Red Clay will have a pre/post party for all participants and benchmark spirit awards along the route. Don’t have a bike? The Newark Bike Project and Urban Bike Project of Wilmington have bikes for rent or purchase at severely discounted rates and are excited to work with Red Clay employees to find bikes to train with and to ride Bike to the Bay with.

Volunteers are always needed! If you do not want or can’t ride in Bike to the Bay but would like to be a part of Team Red Clay, you can sign up to volunteer at one of the spirit benchmark stops for Red Clay or help set up the pre/post parties.

Red Clay Bike Jerseys!

Red Clay has several sponsors for our Bike to the Bay ride that has allowed our team to purchase discounted team jerseys with our logo and team name on them! Please contact for information on the bike jerseys. Ordering information TBA.

About MS

When you make a donation, you are changing the world for people affected by multiple sclerosis. Symptoms of MS range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are leading to better understanding and moving us closer to a world free of MS. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with at least two to three times more women than men being diagnosed with the disease. MS affects more than 2.3 million worldwide, and there is not yet a cure. Every dollar raised matters to those affected by MS. Thank you for your support.
