To Oldly Go

Our goal—a world free of MS:

Every year I try to do a single charity ride. This year I'm doing a different ride, but with the same goal: to fund research into treatments and cures for MS. It's going to be a team effort: Carl Krauthauser, Tony Stevens and I plan to do over 160 miles over two days, riding from Dover Deleware to Rohoboth Beach.

More importantly, I also plan to try and raise $3000 dollars for the care of people you know - family members, friends, co-workers - and I need sponsors who would be willing to help me reach this goal. Can I count on you to donate to help?

The canned message that MS gives riders to send out says "Please support me with a donation" but that's wrong headed. Don't support me. Support the National MS society. Multiple Sclerosis is an auto-immune disease that attacks the victim's central nervous system, leading to an inability to control your own muscles, spasms, loss of balance, blindness, deafness, and more. The National MS Society raises funds to support both research into a cure for MS and to support MS sufferers.

Please support us today:

I've set an ambitious goal because I know that with support from people like you we can get there. The money raised will help fund amazing progress in MS research, as well as services that ensure people affected by MS can live their best lives. This cause is really important to me, so I hope you will help me end MS forever.

About MS

When you make a donation, you are changing the world for people affected by multiple sclerosis. Symptoms of MS range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are leading to better understanding and moving us closer to a world free of MS. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with at least two to three times more women than men being diagnosed with the disease. MS affects more than 2.3 million worldwide, and there is not yet a cure. Every dollar raised matters to those affected by MS. Thank you for your support.
