Bike MS: Bike to the Bay (Delaware) 2018

Booze Clues (For the Love of Booze)

Riding again!  This time to Rehobeth Beach...

Yes, the Booze Clues team is undertaking the 150 mile slog ride to Rehobeth Beach. Why? Because we love a challenge... particularly when there is a world-renowned brewery at the turn-around! It will be fun... we will laugh, we will complain, we will suffer, and we will laugh again.  It's all a part of what makes this such a memorable event for us.  And it's only a loose analogy for what our beneficiaries have to go through every day.

Let's be honest; our ride is about having a good time, but we wouldn't be doing it if we weren't also seeking to benefit the millions (yes, millions) of people who suffer from MS. Our team is made up of people who love to ride, run, and be physically active. That is often not possible for the people we seek to benefit. Maybe this small gesture and fundraising effort on our part can help to make their lives easier and maybe even help to find a cure.

We aren't going to go through all our own personal connections to people with MS and related diseases, but we all have them. You probably do, too... it is amazing how often in fundraising you learn that a friend's mother, brother, or child is stricken with neurodegenerative disease and you simply had no idea.  Please help us by contributing to our team (either via one of our members or just the team itself).  It is a tiny thing in the grand scheme of things, but all tiny things accumulate.

About MS

When you make a donation, you are changing the world for people affected by multiple sclerosis. Symptoms of MS range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are leading to better understanding and moving us closer to a world free of MS. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with at least two to three times more women than men being diagnosed with the disease. MS affects more than 2.3 million worldwide, and there is not yet a cure. Every dollar raised matters to those affected by MS. Thank you for your support.
