UPDATE Bike MS: FedEx Rockin' Ride Canceled Due to Inclement Weather
After serious consideration, the National MS Society and Bike MS organizers have made the very difficult decision to cancel the final day of 2018 Bike MS: FedEx Rockin' Ride due to the inclement weather along the route. With the solid rainfall throughout the weekend including flooding, we have concerns about being able to provide a safe event for cyclists, volunteers and staff.
There will be a second shuttle available back to the Landers Center at 9:30 am. Cyclists will be transported via a bus and bikes will be transported via the luggage truck. If you would like to take the shuttle, please meet at the bike compound in the garage by 9:30 am. Also Central BBQ is still available at Landers, but massages are not.
Ready for the ride of a lifetime?
Bike MS: FedEx Rockin’ Ride is a ride that will take you farther than you’ve ever gone before. This year we are rolling the dice and heading back to the Gold Strike Resort & Casino in Tunica, MS where the roads are smoother and cyclists can gather together in one place to celebrate their accomplishments! The two day ride will start at Landers Center in Southaven with riders traveling 32.8, 54.7 or 81.2 miles of scenic country roads. Start time both days is 7:30 am.
In addition, you’ll experience an incredible level of camaraderie as you embark on a journey filled with laughter, excitement, support, and a profound sense of accomplishment. Your participation will drive MS research forward faster, and deliver programs and services to those who face the challenges of MS every day.
