Run For M.S. 5k

Our goal—a world free of MS.

I've created Run for M.S. a 5k to help change the lives of people affected by MS and help fuel progress toward a world free of MS. I’d love your support as I prepare for this and if you want to do more than make a donation, join us on May 5th at 10 A.M. at Lake Tye, Monroe, WA. Follow Run For M.S. on Facebook at https://m.facebook.com/RUNFORMS5K/ for updates.

Please support our activity today.

I’ve set an ambitious goal because I know that with support from people like you we can get there. The money raised will help fund amazing progress in MS research, as well as programs and services that ensure people affected by MS can live their best lives.

My story

I'm a senior at Monroe High School and I am organizing this 5k as my senior project. I'm a runner who has a deep appreciation of my ability to run because of a loved one that I have seen impacted by Multiple Sclerosis. I hope that on May 5th, 2018, you come to Lake Tye Monroe, WA and run or walk for a good cause! Support your community and help ensure that everyone can have the ability to run, walk, move, and enjoy the outdoors for themselves! Even if you can't attend the run, all donations are greatly appreciated.

About MS

When you make a donation, you are changing the world for people affected by MS. Symptoms of MS range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are leading to better understanding and moving us closer to a world free of MS. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with at least two to three times more women than men being diagnosed with the disease. MS affects more than 2.3 million worldwide, and there is not yet a cure. Every dollar raised matters to those affected by MS. Thank you for your support.
