MS225

THE GOAL In July 2019, Glenn and a few friends will spend 20 days hiking 225 miles of the Continental Divide Trail in Montana. The team will hike through spectacular alpine scenery as they head to the Canadian border through The Bob Marshall Wilderness and Glacier National Park. The team will raise funds to support research that will end Multiple Sclerosis – a debilitating neurological disease.

ORGANIZERS  Glenn and Nancy Remelts are the co-captains. Nancy was diagnosed with MS in 1994. She continues to fight hard daily to be in control of her life and is still mobile and active! Glenn, her husband, is a long-time backpacker who enjoys long backpacking adventures. So, why not do good for others while indulging in a personal pastime!

About MS

When you make a donation, you are changing the world for people affected by MS. Symptoms of MS range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are leading to better understanding and moving us closer to a world free of MS. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with at least two to three times more women than men being diagnosed with the disease. MS affects more than 2.3 million worldwide, and there is not yet a cure. Every dollar raised matters to those affected by MS. Thank you for your support.
