Pictured on the left is the 2016 aMSing Grace team. From left to right: back row Pat Kohlstedt (hiding!), Paul Kohlstedt, Suzanne Perkins, Chris Kohlstedt.  Front row Me, Renae Rupio (honorary daughter), Bev Paul, Kathy Kohlstedt, Nancy Dutton.

From the motivational start to the cheerleaders at the finish, the MS Society Phoenix chapter did a great job with the walk.  It was a beautiful day spent walking through the Phoenix Zoo.  We were extremely fortunate to have Suzanne with us.  In her "spare" time she is a zoo volunteer so we actually had a private tour with little known facts about the animals as we walked.  And then, as with any Italian gathering, we came back to our house and had a bar-b-que.

I am really looking forward to the walk this year.  I am hoping that this year the team gets a little bigger and we laugh a little harder than last time.

If you want to join in the fun, go to the Join My Team page and sign up to be on my team.  Although fund raising is not required, if you can get donations it will help.  If you know of others who would like to walk with us, please have them sign up too.  This is a family affair and all are welcome.

About MS

When you make a donation, you are changing the world for people affected by MS. Symptoms of MS range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are leading to better understanding and moving us closer to a world free of MS. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with at least two to three times more women than men being diagnosed with the disease. MS affects more than 2.3 million worldwide, and there is not yet a cure. Every dollar raised matters to those affected by MS. Thank you for your support.
