Christa Anthony Revnes was a vibrant, creative and beautiful woman with endless talents. Christa was, in a word, fabulous. She was stripped of her abilities too young after being diagnosed with MS at the age of 47, the same year she was widowed by a wonderful husband and father, Richard Revnes. Thus began what was an impossibly difficult road of deterioration, from a disease with no known cure. Two weeks before her passing, she expressed her profound desire to be healed and “get better.” There is no more heartbreaking thing to hear from a person who has suffered for twenty five years: the realization that there is no hope at all. It was not more than three weeks later that she passed from us, the disease overwhelming the soul, the spark of life that shined brightly for so long suddenly extinguished. If Christa could speak one more time, she would ask that we all work tirelessly to find a cure for MS so that others may have hope for a future. And, that if you are lucky to be blessed with a happy, healthy life, then be fabulous.
